Determination!

First of all you as a parent and working from home mom should always have a schedule. You treat your home business the same as you were working outside the home. Which is flowing a schedule, but without a child of course.

I will mention how I make my schedule. I always made this statement that the most important person in my life is my daughter and nothing else. So, she comes first no matter what. I made the choice to stay at home with my daughter so I can enjoy every little time with her. So, that's what I decided to do and will not change that at all. But now here comes the challenge. I run my own home based business, which requires as much time as well.

Here we go:
Before my daughter wakes up. I take care of myself first. I take a shower just like I would go to work. I make some breakfast I eat it and then, I check my email regarding any orders that I have received. I then respond to them. Once I am finished, I make sure that I have the required materials in stock and then I process that. Once that is done.

I go back in the kitchen and make my daughters food ready. Before hand I always check her activity calendar. So, I am prepared for the rest of the day. Once she wakes up, I feed her then I get her ready to go to Gymboree. She plays there for about 45 minutes. We come home then I feed her a snack and I eat as well. She gets tired and I put her to bed.

That's when I am promoting my business or anything else I have to get ready to be shipped. She usually takes a 2 to 2.5 hour nap, so that gives me enough time to do what I have to to.

Once she wake up I make her lunch and then we go to he park or pool for about an hour. We come home give her a snack and then we paint or do other activities. I always check back and forth to see if I have any messages. Then I continue playing with my daughter. I get dinner ready and My husband come home and takes over and that's when I do most of my work. AT NIGHT when everyone is asleep. But I never work after 11:00 P.M. That's my rule. Because if you over work yourself you will get stressed out and your business will fail. So, never do to much. Listen too you body!

And that's how I make my schedule and so far it has been successful. So, hopefully you might come up with a similar method in juggling kids and work together but never cheat your daughter of spending time with YOU. Because that was the main reason you wanted to stay home for. NOT the work. So, make your business fun fun fun and not work work and no fun.

So, Good luck in all you do and remember "believe in yourself and you will succeed"

:P
